Buzz bags another win for Dowling
That's his fourth win for us and it's nice to get a little birthday winner as well!. He's been unbelievable and is a super little servant. He can take a bit of a grip, we actually put the rubber bit back on him just to let him cart along a little bit as he enjoys that. It's great for Martin and Maureen (Flinter) who are great owners. Front-runners' tracks suit him but he's won around Naas as well which is a stiff track. I'll probably give him one or two more runs and then give him a month or six weeks holiday. I'll bring him back in for Dundalk around January time. We'll keep giving him little breaks. He comes back fresh and well and he enjoys himself.
Earls 'a different horse' without blinkers
He's a different horse altogether, you can ride a race on him and he relaxes. When the gap opened he rallied well and just got there, it was ideal. He only won so hopefully the handicapper isn't too hard on him. The way he is relaxing now you'd think he'd get a mile. We'll look for something similar again.
Free To Party knuckles down well
That was great, I didn't think it would take this long for him to win his maiden. He was a nice maiden at the start of the year but was probably a bit weak. He's been knocking on the door, been very consistent, and he probably deserved to win his maiden. Hopefully now he'll develop into a premier handicapper. He showed a good attitude and Ben said a mile-and-a-quarter is good and he should get a mile-and-a-half.

Coen completes double as Disco Boots dances in
The last day was her first time over ten furlongs and when Ben came back in he said she really kept at it. Even stepping up in trip again today he was adamant she would stay and rode her positively. We had a frustrating year with her last year, waiting on ground. I genuinely think we could drop her back completely in trip on easier ground. We just chanced our arm and luckily the rain came today. I rang Lordan Wyer this morning and he said it was the safe side of good. When they got a shower during the first it really swung it in favour of running her. She's a nice filly and I think a lot of her. She has an entry over a mile-and-a-quarter at the Curragh on Champions Weekend but I doubt she'll get in. If she comes out of this okay she might go to Galway for the Listed fillies race and try and nick a bit of black-type with her. It would be great for the owner John Heffernan, who is very local to me and was actually at the same school as me.
Cromwell & Carroll double up in the last
She was off the bridle the whole way and Gary earned his riding fee. She stuck at it well, she's still very green but she stayed well. Hopefully she can improve away as she's still weak and raw.
