Luska does it well on hurdles bow
That was very good. We were hoping he'd do it that way. Ruby was very happy with him. He likes deep ground. We'll probably bring him for a two mile two in the North (Down Royal) on the Friday of the big meeting. Cheltenham in November is another option. I bought a few easyfix hurdles two weeks ago and I had him jumping them.
Last draws the diamond
They went a nice gallop there so I was a bit worried about his fitness. He hadn't run for a good while (152 days). He idles a bit in front. He is going to make a lovely chaser in time. He might have one or two more hurdle runs before he goes chasing around Christmas. He'll get further.
That was great. It was a nice opportunity for him. That was his maiden win over hurdles. I hope he doesn't get too much off the handicapper for that. He'll either go for a winners race or another handicap. He looks well enough handicapped. He has an entry in the Hennessy in Newbury and I wouldn't be worried about the trip at all there.

Alpha fails to crack Rock
He is a Presenting so the ground probably made a difference (good to firm last time out). The first two are obviously good horses. He was probably in front a bit too soon there. He wasn't one hundred percent fit today but he will be after that. We have no immediate plans.
