Bolger's Stylish One upsets the favourite
The soft ground first time out didn't suit her. The ground made a difference today. This has been a lucky race for us. She has done well to win that. That may be her for the year but I might enter her in a listed race next week.
Dubai Prince shows his class
He is a very high-class performer. He is a joy to train. Seven furlongs is really too short for him. He will make a very exciting horse next year. He is in a Group 1 at Saint Cloud in three weeks time so I'll have a chat with John Ferguson (bloodstock adviser to owner Sheikh Mohammed) to see if he goes for that. He will go on any ground. He will run exceptionally well over one mile next year but his real potential will come over longer distances. He is by an outstanding stallion and his dam won over one mile five furlongs.
Annamay kicks clear and holds on
She had a terrible draw in Sligo last time. She had a good draw here and Kieran gave her a smart ride. She has just pulled up lame but I'm delighted with her win. She showed her pace to kick clear and I think she just got lonely in front.
Experience proves the key to Tiz The Shot
He stays well and a mile and a quarter will be no problem to him. He's a straightforward horse and has grown up. He was the most experienced horse in the race. I would say the ground out there is good ground.
Flynn's Jeangeorges stays on well
I'll go to Dundalk next over a mile. That's his sort of trip. That's my 29th winner on the flat and 34th overall this year.
Super Say has the final say at Leopardstown
I gave him a bit of a break since his last run. He's a very big horse and I was concerned he would need the run. Ben gave him a great ride. There's a mile handicap here next week he might go for. I will also look at the all-weather at Dundalk. He's an improving horse and we haven't got to the bottom of him yet.
Famous Name canters home in style
He's a lovely horse to train. That's ten group and listed wins in total for him and he's very good round Leopardstown. He's entered in Paris on Sunday so a decision will be taken on that later in the week. As regards whether he stays in training next year, I would love him to as he has a tremendous enthusiasm for racing, but I'll have to speak to Lord Grimthorpe (racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah). I would say I've won more group and listed races this year than I have ever won.
