Dunphy Off Mark with Lus Na Hoiche
I've been training since mid-May and that's my first winner. I've had four runners and I'm looking for more horses.
Loch Long takes advantage of class drop
The owners (Thistle Bloodstock Limited) entered him in the Derby. He was entitled to win that and hopefully he'll go on and improve from it. I'm very pleased with him.
Coral Creek does it again at Ballinrobe
She likes it around here and that's her third win in the place. The ground is the key to her as she likes an ease. She is honest though she'll probably get a good few pounds for that. I'm not sure about Galway.
Another for Laois with Coughlans
He needs a cut in the ground. He has loads of pace and he had a bad draw there so I told Shane to sit out the back. He'll probably run at Naas on Wednesday. We brought him to England a few times but he disappointed.
Monty battles well under Barry
That was a gutsy performance. He has plenty of speed and he won on the flat before. I thought faster ground would suit him better. The Galway Blazers is a possibility. He is going to the sales the week after that.
God Loves Chasing
He jumped better at Limerick than he did today. He idled a bit there because they were going half-speed. He slipped into the butt of one fence but he is smart. I think he is a better chaser than hurdler, he has more respect for fences. I feel he has a big day in him with a fast pace and good ground. He might go to Galway for the two mile novice chase but I'll talk to Michael about it tomorrow.
Another bumper winner for Closutton
