He'd a nice run the last day. It was a first run in a handicap and probably sharpened him up a bit. He stays really well. He’s no superstar but he’s capable of winning a few races. A bit of nice ground and three miles is what he wants. I’m delighted for the boys that he’s won as it’s their first horse and great to get a winner. They are four young lads from Clare.

That was mighty and I’m delighted for Harry who is a great supporter of ours. He’s a horse that won a four-year-old (point-to-point) and had a couple of niggly problems so Harry threw him out into a field for a year. He’s relished a step up in trip and better ground. I suppose he’ll get a good hike in the handicap for that, but it was a very weak race. I thought he was a bit of a monkey when he was running in winners’ races and he got beat in two winners. He went today but maybe not every day!
Happy Jacky scores on second start for Fahey
He ran a belter in Galway before (second at the Festival in 2022) so that is something that we could think about and there is a nice conditions race in Cork.

She was unlucky the last day to run into Mousey Brown who was well in and won well again since. . The plan was she had a light weight and to make use of it. When she gets to the front and gets into a rhythm like that, she’s hard to peg back. She’s a good, tough, solid mare. . She lost her way a little bit over the winter. I just think she was sick of being gunned out on that real heavy ground and seems to be enjoying that better surface. . We’ll probably have a crack at Galway now, maybe the Galway Blazers. She enjoys it in a bigger race with a lighter weight as she’s not that big. . Gerry and Chrissy (Hughes, owners) are in Spain at the moment. They’ll be watching in and will be happy tonight.
Son of Berkshire wins for Ascot-bound Cromwell
Deccie gave him a lovely ride. They didn’t go too quick and he was in a lovely position all the way. He quickened away and stayed going to the line.
