She did it very well and I fancied her as her run in Cork was a good run. She wasn't a bumper mare but ran very well on ground that was a bit dead and the nicer ground over a longer trip suited better today. She did it very well and Mark gave her a lovely ride and his 7lb claim was a big, big help.

He has been running well and his run the last day was very good. The problem we had was he wasn't coming on from his runs and it was taking too much out of him. He has stepped forward this year, is a bit stronger and is more mature and relaxed at the races, which is all helping. He got a peach of a ride from Bryan and likes racing prominently, and he said he'd stay three miles - he's not the quickest but is all heart. We'll see what the handicapper does and you would like to think he would be a nice horse for the 2m6f handicap hurdle at Galway and maybe he will get a race in before that.

There is another one of these hunter chases for him in Listowel, so we will follow that route as the better horses have gone out. He was on fire going around then but he is a boyo. He beat Billaway one day at Fairyhouse and the ability is there but it is just to get it out of him and Aine gets on great with him.
