Espion delights Lyons & Teehan
In hindsight he wasn't straight enough for Clonmel as he had missed a few days over Christmas after his fall here. We had a fair idea we had him right for today but still we were worried about the ground as he'd prefer it a bit better. If he is okay in the morning, we might try for a novice handicap at Wexford in March but we're absolutely thrilled to have won two with him during the winter.

Elvis makes all in the feature at Thurles
He is a very straightforward horse to do anything with and we thought conditions would really suit him. When I got here and Darragh told me the ground was terrible I was quite happy to hear that. I thought the trip might be a bit short for him but conditions nullified that.

Sligo beauty spot is a winner at Thurles
Today's trip suited as she's a three-miler really. She ran a great race the last day in Clonmel and the step up in trip helped her today. She is a good old stayer. Her owner Gerald Gormley is from Sligo.
Market gets it all wrong as Jet belies drift
That was more like his home work and it's great to put that on the back of his disappointing run at Leopardstown. Jody said he was quite keen and she said she was taking a pull turning in, that's how well she appeared to be going. Jody was full of him and he showed us that form earlier on in the season. He'll get an entry for Cheltenham but I'll have a word with his owner Douglas Taylor and see what he wants to do. If he'd like to travel he is certainly good enough I think because the better ground would suit. His dam is a half-sister to Cousin Vinny so that might just tip the scales to run.
