In-form Texas Rock delivers again
I'm only after saying that the handicapper has been a bit unfair on him so obviously I'm wrong. I've always thought seven furlongs was his trip and he likes to come off a fast pace. Everything worked out for him today. He nearly travelled too well and got there too soon. He does everything on the bridle. Some people might say he doesn't try too hard but I honestly think he just does everything on the bridle. He battled well today though and the biggest problem is that he's been doing too much too early. Billy gets on well with him. He drops his hands on him and gets him switched off. I think there is a race in Dundalk for him in a couple of weeks or we could look at the Knockaire Stakes on the last day at Leopardstown. I bred him so it would be nice to get some black-type for my mare. This is great, especially for Joe (Keeling, owner), who has been a great supported of mine from the start.
Doonard Prince enjoys Headquarters again
It was the same conditions as last time and he loves it. He's one of those horses that gets on a roll. He was fresh after the last day and we just kept him fresh. He was really well coming into today and I'm delighted for the owner John Bowden. He's been coming here since he was 17/18 and never thought he'd have a winner here. He's after having two now. Shane said he idled but when the other horse got to him he battled back. He's better over a stiff six like here or Naas and as he's after winning two now we might end on a high note and come back again next season.

In fairness, when they were all coming around her she kept trying to pull out that bit more. She'll probably go into handicaps and she should hold her own. She was just a little bit sweaty in the parade ring. She wears a hood at home. I didn't want to put it on her first time but she could maybe have done with it today. That wasn't what we wanted to do but he did the right thing by not fighting her the whole way. He let her run at her own pace and she was happy in front. In fairness to her she kept picking up and you can't knock her. Billy is a horseman and made the right decision. Frank (McNulty) bought the mare carrying her for only €3,000 so I'm delighted for him. He had Leah Claire with me who was a chestnut filly with a white face and was as tough as nails. If she's anywhere near as good she'll be alright. She's finished for the year. She's still very weak and we'll take our time with her.
Jaqen H'Ghar swoops for O'Briens
He probably likes being ridden that way. He was very patient on him. Joseph said he'll keep him to those type of handicaps.
New Direction finds the right path
He's in the sales. He'll jump a hurdle, stays well and handles soft ground.
