McCreery's Childhood wins D'Royal's opener
I was a bit disappointed with her the second day at Naas and thought she ran a little bit with the choke out. That was the plan today, to arrive late. She looks after herself a bit but she's a tough little devil. She did that well, quickened up well and might go for something like the Birdcatcher or another premier six furlong handicap. She finished off today whereas the last day she did it all in the first furlong and didn't finish.
Hayden/Calnan enjoy 'family' success
she was due a win but we'll have to learn her how to jump roads and stuff like that!. she wants to learn to be a little more settled and not burn herself out. She has a lot of toe and it's ideal up here for her. We might stick her in the Joe McGrath over five at the Curragh. That's a handicap where she could be covered up. I'd say that's as soft as she wants it. She's owned by a doctor (Anthony Calnan) from Clonakilty and I trained her mother (dual 2008 winner Valentine Hill) and it's also nice to win a maiden with this filly.

Keane completes double on Feane's keen filly
we were just a little bit worried about the ground. She's been a little bit difficult to train as she's very keen and we put the eye-shield on her today and it seemed to work to a degree but she was still keen. She has lots of ability but is very hot. Hopefully she should win again if the handicapper is not too hard on her. There is a 0-70 handicap at Naas for her over a mile but I don't know if she'll get in to it now.
Tutor supplies rookie trainer with second win
he’s been crying out for rain and that's as good as he is but hopefully we can get another one or two out of him. I've no plans with him but we'll just look for something similar. It's great for the owner Richard Behan who is from Armagh.
Winning start for dead-heating jockeys
I'm delighted! We bought her (Rolanna) at the sales for just €1,000 and Mr Walsh (owner) bought into her. We've only had her for a handful of runs and brought her to Chepstow where she was third. She suffered a bit with ulcers but we treated that and it seems to have worked. She schools well and has a nice future over hurdles.
