Tipp Kilkenny Slattery Tynan combination a winning team
Cian Quirke makes fast start to the professional ranks
Now a dual Kilbeggan winner Mick could be Killarney bound
He’d a number of good runs last summer and had slipped up the handicap so Shane’s claim was a big help,. He’s entered in Killarney next week so we’ll see how he comes out of this and what the handicapper does with him. He can run over fences or hurdles at the country tracks. He’s a grand fun horse.
Vischio provides owner with a welcome tonic
That took a bit of time and it’s an important winner as her owner John Kennedy hasn’t had the best of health lately so that will definitely help him. He’s been a friend of mine for donkey’s years and he owned the first winner I ever had. We got her out of a Lingfield seller last year and she has taken her time to find a bit of form. The race cut up a bit and I was thinking she would go on the ground. We knew she was in good form.
Where's Bunny - she's at the number one spot
She has always worked well at home and was placed in three maiden hurdles last year but didn’t put it together this year. She’s been unlucky unseating a few times,.
Walking On Glass Galway bound after easy win
He’s a little star and it’s great that the lads (Fivers & Tenners Syndicate) were back to see him win today. They weren’t able to go to Galway when he won last year and hopefully he’ll head back there again. He could go for the same Flat race he won or I might give him an entry in the good 2m6f handicap hurdle after that. He rarely runs a bad race. That three miles seems to suit him and he gets two miles on the Flat — he stays well. He tries his heart out and is a great little horse to have in the yard.
The Cullentra team have Lense cherry ripe off Big break for Big win
I’m delighted for Jody who has been riding out of his skin and gave him a great ride,. He’s had a little problem and needed time off, but we have been aiming at this race for a while. Hopefully he comes out of this race well and I’m sure the Plate will be in the plans again.
