Duc D'allier impresses in Clonmel
Slainte And Thanks lands Clonmel gamble
ground! All last year she didn't get her ground and she needed the run at Tramore last week and was bouncing since. The ground was after being watered and Danny said the inside was riding softer and she wants to hear herself off it. I'll talk nicely to the handicapper tomorrow but there's a 0-102 handicap hurdle somewhere at the end of the month. If he won't hammer her she could go for that race.
It's Clonmel so it has to be You Can't Catch Me
He loves it here and what he wants is good ground and Clonmel. Two and a half miles is his trip and he had everything in his favour today. I didn't look to see what was coming up and while he needs two miles on the Flat, there aren't many of those races around but the Flat is a possibility. There should be more races in Clonmel for us!
An October Revolution in June for McGraths
He was half off the bridle for the first round but stays away at it well and is tough out. He surprised me a little bit as he out of it a bit with the ratings with the other horses but he enjoys the summer ground and comes into himself once a year and wings his fences. I'm 28, have had six point-to-point winners and that's good to get that first racecourse winner out of the way.
Galileo gelding Venezia delights O'Grady
It is lovely for him to win and for a horse with only three runs over hurdles he jumps well. He needed all the assistance and luck he got but won nicely in the end. He needed a couple of great jumps at the last two fences and he got them. He loves the ground and that makes a big difference to him. He can probably do everything (chase, hurdle and flat) but when and where I don't know and I'm not in a hurry with him either. He'll have to go handicap chasing as he wouldn't be good enough for a novice chase. He is the first Galileo I've been lucky enough to train and he's a lovely horse and I'm lucky to have him.
Double WIndsor scores for O'Brien/Flanagan
Beautiful City an across-the-card treble for O'Brien
She had a lovely run first-time out and we thought she would come forward from that. We thought she would run well. I haven't see the race yet but I'm delighted she has won.
