Festival plan for Pints, Bubbles and Fancy A Cosmo
we said we would chance Fancy A Cosmo back in maiden company as he has so much experience over hurdles. It looked a very competitive race on paper but I definitely thought that he would be there or thereabouts because he was in brilliant form at home. He likes nice ground and today I just thought he looked as good as I've ever had him. His coat seemed to be that bit better than it was. He was very fit and very well and I'd say he is just coming right. He had put two good runs together and I thought if he turned up again today that he would be bang there. I hope the handicapper won't be too hard on him now. He was rated 104 and the highest with a rating in this race was 110. We will find something in Galway for him now - the lads are from there.
UK-bound Ricky Langford bags fifth win
he has been a good, fun horse and has won five races for us now. He is owned by the Kings Horses Syndicate - I was in school in Kings Hospital in Dublin and a bunch of friends from there own him. I gave him to them a few years ago and he has been great and has near enough paid his way. hopefully we'll get another day out of him but ultimately is for sale and is one that will be going to England this year. There is a ladies' race in Cartmel in a few weeks time and we might go over there with him - a few of the lads from the syndicate are living in England now. He would be a super horse for England on good ground — he'd nearly be a 'Saturday horse' in handicap chases over there.
McConnell completes cross-card double
he's just getting faster as we go along and, as we know, this is a quick five. For his third run, it was a good performance. He's a lovely horse and there's more to come and Donagh said it took an age to pull him up. He's probably only coming to himself now and is also probably on the market. He'll stay six furlongs no problem, he's fast and will probably get faster.

Clairmc gives conquering Cromwell a cross-card double
I knew Clairmc would battle coming back to two miles today. I was going well down the hill and probably ran into a bit of a pocket. When I saw Berliet Express coming on the outside I thought he could be a weak enough finisher, so I wasn't too worried and I knew it was a long straight here. When I rode her in Tramore I said to Gavin that she mightn't have stayed 2m5f, so the trip today wasn't a worry. She had been disappointing and we didn't think it would take her as long to win, but now she is after winning two in-a-row. She is in-foal and I'm not sure how long she has left.
Friends wins bumper finale for Team Mullins
she was a little bit green when we quickened down the hill but once the penny dropped, she came back on the bridle turning in. She is by Mahler, she stays very well and loved that good ground. I'm not sure what the plan will be going forward but it's great for the Lion's Mouth Racing Club who've had other horses with us, like Rebel Og and Coole Og. She will stay going for the summer and I don't think she is a winter mare. I don't think heavy, wet ground would suit as she is not over big, but has an engine.
