Haddington on the winning Road
Punchestown was his first run and we knew he needed it. The owners have been super patient and we'll see what the handicapper does. The drop in trip helped, though he'll get three miles no problem. I'd say two and a half would be fine. We dropped him back as he travelled so well in Punchestown. He'll go chasing at the end of summer.
Be Seeing You again soon
He won well and was a bit green. He's in at Perth on Sunday and Roscommon on Tuesday so I'll see. He's owned by friends of ours from Trim,.
Cristy's Call brings up Carberry's double
I thought that ground was a little slow for him. Gordon (Elliott) fancied his horse but I liked my chance. I'll keep him going in and around that trip and on fast ground.
Fort Smith gives Carberry his treble
Paul said on the night nothing would have beaten him. He was full of running everywhere. He's a horse with loads of ability. He's a pure pig of a horse!
Hassett loses his claim and that's Official
We were very confident and Shane who is my nephew lost his claim with that. That's how to ride a 33/1 shot and that's how you lose your claim. I'm delighted he lost his claim on one of mine. He's a dinger that horse. He had lost his spark and we tried different things with him since we got him. We tried him over banks and he's been showing more at home. We had him tongue-tied which also helped.
Lightly-raced El Grande making hay
Katie shows again she's a Very Talented Lady
He's probably too weak for round here but Katie had ridden him twice before, and knew him, so we saw the ladies race and went for it. He would prefer a galloping track.
