No Pretending as Connell's Hashtag lands the odds
We're only waiting two or three years for that!. He's had five seconds and a third but he has run into good horses every time. The horse in Killarney came out and won a good race in Listowel. Looking at it you'd question if he's genuine or not but he is but he's just been unfortunate really. Today was his day. He handles quick ground, the time was 3.45 there so it's proper good ground. We'll put him into a handicap now and see what mark we get. He'll go novice chasing during the summer next year but I'd say for the moment we'll just play it by ear. He won't handle winter ground but that 's job done today, so it's great.
Spark off the mark for Barcoe
She was staying at it well on her last run over hurdles and she had a couple of solid runs before that,. Her last run on the Flat was a grand run too. Stormalong was fourth in that race and she won yesterday off 112. She was consistent so I'm delighted to get that. She seems to be effective on quick ground, I don't think she's a winter mare. She's not the biggest in the world but she has a big heart. She's in at Tramore next week but we'll have to see what the weather does.

Joy for favourite backers as Mullins mare wins under Townend
That was nice. Paul was keen to make a lot more use of her and make use of her jumping,. He schooled her during the week and she was very good. The ground is fairly lively, a bit more than anticipated, so he wasn't afraid to make the running and have a good go with her. It paid off. The other mare seemed to change tactics, she jumped off behind us. We were assuming they would go on. I think she's improving and we'll try and find another race like that and keep her on the mares route. She might be ground dependent, better off on nicer ground and hopefully we'll get another month or six weeks. I think it's as strong as I ever had her going to the races and that was a little bit of a worry, that she looked too strong but she's obviously better being like that.
Park comes good again for Nolan
He had been a bit disappointing but it all came good today,. He had been difficult at the start a couple of times. In Galway he whipped around a bit and then got into it by coming up on the outside but then got cut off. Every day there was something. Today he jumped off nice and smart and jumped away well. Mark kept him to the outside to try and keep him sweet and he jumped well and won well enough. He's only six and we'll look for something similar. I wouldn't like the ground to deteriorate too much. He wears a tongue-tie for a reason. One some of the good tracks you wouldn't know what would happen (ground-wise). We didn't over-run him as there hasn't been much for him over the summer. Galway was his last run and he had a nice little break until now, we won't be letting him out anyway.
In For The Night completes double for Walsh and McManus
That was very welcome,. He was unlucky in Galway, he got hobbled over at the castle here. There was nowhere to go as they were six abreast. He finished like a rocket. He's still green but has the makings of a nice one. He wants goodish ground, but wouldn't want it any quicker than that either. They are taking the top off it. We'll see what the handicapper does now and see where we're going.
Queen springs 25/1 surprise in Mares Listed Bumper
I always knew she was good. That was a good race, they went a proper gallop and she just stays really well,. She's taken all this time to grow into that frame, you can see how big she is. She probably should have won in Killarney, the ground really went against her that night. I told Harry (Swan) to make plenty of use of her and when you get down the hill let her roll on. I said that she'll stay every yard of it. She was impressive and they were a long way ahead of the third. She'll go on over hurdles now, a two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle.
