Great result for Doyle family as Emma wins on 1st ride
I honestly couldn't believe it, he just kept picking up down the straight. I was barely touching him. I knew him from his good days when he won three around here and he loves to come wide. Not a bother on him, he tried to run away on me coming back!. I should know him a lot better but he is dad's pet, he rides him out every single day. I know him well enough at this stage.

He has (done that very nicely). The blinkers have obviously done plenty for him and the last night did his confidence good. He looked in great form since at home even though we weren't doing much with him - he had a bit of a swagger about him. It was a good performance so he obviously is thriving. We'll have a think about it but it is always an option to go back on grass, I'll see what there is for him. I'm delighted for the lads (the owners), they have had to be patient with him. They are from Naas and Dublin.

He's a dream of a horse. He's a fine big horse and he started off as a National Hunt horse. His first two runs were in bumpers but it didn't work out for him that way. He knows how to win and he is so consistent. We are so lucky to have him. He travels very strong all the time. He's a beautiful, strong mover of a horse and he always travels maybe even a little bit too strong. I was worried he was maybe doing a little bit too much, it was great that he had the horse to chase. To be honest we were quietly confident, he had worked well on Monday and the only thing in the back of my mind when they are running a long time is if you go once too much. I was desperately worried (at the finish), I would have gladly settled for a dead-heat!
Money comes strongly for Ciao & Cromwell runner delivers
Blinkers on first-time because she wandered about a bit the last day. She was a bit unlucky the last day in a maiden when she just bumped into one and wandered about a bit and it cost her second place. . We haven't got her very long and she is improving. She is doing well. I might potentially give her a little break and come back to the turf with her. Martin Hannan (the owner) is just outside Ashbourne, he is a Sligo man and they are the Sligo colours. It is his first winner in those colours. He is away skiing at the minute so he is watching online.

Ragtime Red sheds maiden tag on 15th attempt
He was third the last day and missed the break, I thought he would have won that night. He rallied home well (the last day) and I was very confident tonight,. I probably owe this to Des Scahill - he told me to buy him out of Ger Lyons' yard so it is a big thanks to him. It's great for Rita (Shah) who is the biggest backer you could have and a big thanks to the staff who were in over Christmas, this makes it worthwhile.
