Eliza has Elliott & Kennedy Smiling
The horses are running well and everything is going in. She's honest and you know she mightn't be the fastest thing we have in the yard but she tries and she jumps great. We'll keep her going and she will mix and match it. The other lad (Viscount Wilson who finished fourth) will be alright and he'll do his job.
Ryan dedicates Pearl success to late breeder Maher
She was very game and he (Davy Russell) said he was always going to win. I thought turning in we were in trouble. On that ground she just wants to go a little further. That is her ground. She was bred and owned by a man called Richie Maher who died in April and we are dedicating that win to him. I'd say two and a half miles handicapping now, it depends on the ground. We went to Galway and I knew going to Galway I was in trouble, the ground was just gone for her. She's decent enough on good ground. She loves to mark the top of it. I have eight in at the minute - I lost two during the summer, one in Roscommon and one in Tramore and that hit me hard. I won a bumper in May with another horse and I have a few nice horses.

There was a couple of horses in it that looked like they might have something up their sleeve. He needed the run the last day in terms of experience. We found out that it was too short for him the last day. He doesn't do much on the bridle, he's very close to being off the bridle all the time but he keeps going which is a good thing in a horse I suppose. When he (Mark Bolger) needed him he picked up so I'm delighted with that. Scorpion's are very immature mentally but a lot of them are quite talented. He gets a bit of a bad reputation but I actually love the Scorpion's, I think they are genuine. They are just a bit quirky. He has still room to improve (in his jumping), it's only his second run in a handicap. He fluffed the last a bit. I'm happy there is room to improve and we are going to need it.
Run For Mary now two from two
I'm delighted for the owners, the Solwhit connections. It's great to get back again with them. She's improving away, she learned a lot from Limerick. She travelled much better today, she knew what racing was about today. She quickened well and I thought it was a good performance. They went a good, honest gallop and I thought she won it well. She had to come around them as well. She had a nice bit to do four furlongs out. She'll probably jump a hurdle I'd say. She obviously wants good ground so if the ground stays good she'll run away. She could get black type at some stage.
