Velocidad makes lovely start to career at Fairyhouse
First start at three and it's three in a row for Queens
She can only do what she has done and it was competitive for what was in it. The second is a good yardstick,. Luke said she handled the ground but sure when do jockeys ever say they don't handle it when they win!. She's up to getting a bit of black-type if we can place her right. She should come on from that. Her rating is high so I won't be going down the handicap route. Thank-God she has trained on.
McCreery delight at training winner for owner/breeders the O'Tooles
She's in Wednesday again and we'll see how she is,. I'm delighted for Rory and Noeleen O'Toole, it's their first winner on the Flat and they bred this filly. I've had a couple of fillies before for them that weren't much too but this one has the heart of a lion. She liked that ground and I thought Nathan gave her a lovely ride. I told him to sit in and come out a bit off the rail as the better ground was out a bit and he did exactly that so I'm delighted.
Coleman and McAteer light up Fairyhouse with a brace
This filly was a very good filly and to be honest she's only here because she is Queen Carriage's lead horse,. She's the only one that can lead her and is probably actually a better work horse than her. This was definitely her last chance today. She was down to a good mark but she's been down to a winnable mark for a long time and I don't know what happened today. The soft ground maybe made a difference but even the race didn't go right for her and she still won. I'm gobsmacked that she won to be honest. We know what she can do at home but she's never done it on the track for me. She was decent for Michael O'Callaghan.
Is That Love "on overtime" now after 4th win
I would have given him away last September! We got a little bit of a wind job done on him at the end of the year and he's won twice at Dundalk and now twice on the grass so after this he's on overtime,. He's improving all the time. I have him in at Roscommon on Monday and also in a claimer at Tipperary on Tuesday. He'll definitely be going to one of those as I'd say the handicapper won't be too nice to him. He won't be in the 65 bracket for much longer. He's a fun horse and the owners are great supporters of mine.
Doyle earns riding fee as Grand Revival springs a surprise
Annalise Cullen shows her skills again with 2nd win
He has a few little problems with his wind and we got his palate lasered after Gowran,. I didn't think he'd win as easy as that but the lasering definitely helped him. He loves that ground and is back down to a winning mark again. He's a very genuine horse. I told her to take her time. I was surprised to see him break so well because usually he's a little slow to stride, but he was tanking the whole way with her today. He maybe likes the girls as he ran well for Nikita Kane a couple of times last year. Her father (Denis) sold me Mollys Glory so I owed her a turn. I have him in at Roscommon on Monday but that's nearly a mile-and-a-half and I don't think he quite stays. I'll have a look at it. I might run him because God knows what the handicapper is going to give me now!
Favourite The Blue Brilliant impressive in Fairyhouse finale
We're delighted with her, she deserved that and she loved that ground today,. We'll step her up into listed or group company now. She's smart on that ground and we'll keep going with her.
