Knight leads the Parade in Northern opener
he was entitled to do that on his form and he's owned by a great bunch of lads from Listowel and Killarney (Bodhran Makers Syndicate).
Elliott's High Net Worth brings up half century
he's a monkey and I'm delighted he did that for Sean (Gallagher, owner) as he's with me a long time.
Doyles team up well with High Counsel
I think that's my 200th track winner. He travelled very well and coming to the last I knew the one in front was tying up. Dad said he had improved since the last day. I'll go back to England for the winter and then see about the visa to go back to America next summer. I had a couple of winners in America this summer and I've ridden a Grade One winner out there. Hopefully I'll get out there again. It's pretty much English and Irish lads riding out there so it's a home from home.
Obispo scores for McBratney & Heskin
last year we were at our wits end with him but we're back on track now. We put the hood on him in Down Royal and it has brought him back to life. We freshened him up for this and he was lovely and fresh. He'll probably come back here for a chase, there's a 0-109 handicap for him soon and today's win is great for the owner (Mrs Orla Cleary-O'Kane, from Cookstown).
Elliott red-hot with treble at Downpatrick
It's a lucky spot for us. She deserved it. Barry said the track didn't suit her great, but wasn't going to be beaten. I might try and bring her to England for a novice. She has her black type. She'll probably be covered soon. I hadn't a winner in 10 days and I was in bad form and then I have five in the last two days.
Irish Tenors win 'Honouring Oliver' Race
she gives everything and once I got over the last I gave her a smack and she took off.
Fahey's 'Muck trashes her bumper rivals
she's a nice filly and Peter (Fahey) obviously has done well with her as she has been running fairly consistently.
