Harnett Blind Sides rivals in Claiming Maiden
he is a grand horse, has ability and the blinkers seem to bring out a more. When they got the easy lead with the blinkers, I would have been surprised if anything got to him at that grade. He had a very good run on his second run and I thought he was a decent horse but that maiden didn't work out to be much and than ran disappointing a few times. It is nice to have races like this where you get an opportunity to win and at the same time, are there to be claimed. I think there should be more claimers in this country and ranging in values.
Third time lucky for Library in Fillies' Maiden
the last day she got hung up on the pace early and Seamus gave her a lovely ride today. The plan was to get a lead and when they were going slowly, he let her dawdle to the front and she had a lovely breather around the bend before kicking. I'm delighted with her and she has a little bit of class. We'll look for a stakes race now, she is a lovely mover and handles that good ground very well. A race like the Ingabelle Stakes during Champions Weekend would suit lovely.
Donnacha O'Brien completes Tipperary double
he (Emporio) has loads of ability and has had plenty of issues so was one we were happy to wait on. He has been off the track a long time, it is great to get him back and he took a good blow in the last furlong. He likes that ground but has soundness issues and that's the only negative about running on it. He was fifth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas on soft ground so he'll go on that as well. He is entered for the English Cambridgeshire so we'll look at that.

'Smells like Tees Spirit' — big sprint won by a nose
I was lucky enough to win this race three times as a jockey back when I had hair!. I'd love to know the reason, but he is getting quicker. He came to me rated 62 last year, he has since won over six (furlongs) and while I'm not saying he won't win over six, he loves rattling off fast ground over five. It was either come here or the Beverley Bullet and when I came over and walked the track, I was delighted with the very quick ground. He likes that and I thought this was the best option. He didn't get his ground at the Curragh previously. The owners Ingleby Bloodstock bought my dad's yard so that's how I got to know them. They have been nothing but supportive, have left me run him where I want and it has paid off. You wouldn't get an easier five than either here or Longchamp and he will probably run in the Prix de l'Abbaye. Obviously the ground might be against him as he hasn't run on soft ground but we'll take our chance. we got here two nights ago, the horse got the day off yesterday and we stayed at the local hotel where we hacked the golf course up. To have a second Listed winner means a hell of a lot, we have 20 horses in and that's 13 winners this year. This can only help build more success.
Yokkell a tenth winner of the season for Jamie Powell
she has been very very consistent but when you're that consistent and don't win, you start to worry whether or not it would happen. She has shown a nice turn of foot and has been consistent around that trip in three-year-old handicaps. Whether or not she can step up against the older ones, we don't know but we'll find out as the year progresses. I wouldn't rule out jumping hurdles with her and the way she won tonight we'll stick to the flat for another while. Triona Burbage and a few of her friends from Portarlington own her and I'm delighted for them.
