Richard O'Brien puts local win on board
He was wrong with a few at the weights but did it very well. He's been a great fun horse and we've had a wonderful time with him. It's great for the lads who own him - Charlie Maguire and Alan Devine - who bought him first day for E2,000 and gave him to me,. It's my first winner here and it's great. He's a great tough sound horse but from our point of view it would work out great (were he claimed) as we've got two wins out of him and it's good business if he's gone, so we'd probably let him go if he is claimed. He's in at Tipperary next Thursday and could easily turn out there if he's not claimed.
Branch Line back on track
We gelded him last November but he fell asunder on us and is only now after strengthening up quite a bit,. I think he'll be very good next year - I think he'll be a group horse then. I'll give him an entry in the Mile Handicap at Galway next.
Lee 3 at Limerick come in at 68/1
36/1 Limerick brace for Leonard
He's really a 45 to 65 horse so Killian's 5lbs claim had to help and he's healthy and well at the moment,. I'm a pessimist by my nature and the glass is always half-empty so I didn't think he was up!. He's in again at Tipperary on Thursday and will then go to Killarney in July.
McCann's Hall denies heavily backed Motel
He had a problem with the stalls last year but had a good first run back at Kilbeggan and Conor gave him a superb ride and he's not a bad wee horse,. Rita Shah just bought into him recently with Colm Murphy and it's great but is unfortunate for the last owner.
In-form Doyle out the Gap with another winner
