Born By The Sea scores for the Gilligans
That was well deserved but most importantly Rocket Lad and David are up okay,. A lot of thanks must go to John Bleahen who mentioned the horse to me, and my wife Natalie is into him with three guys from Moycullen. They had a horse with me before that got a fall and was killed one day at Fontwell. This fella will probably step-up in trip now.
Shantelle makes all under O'Farrell
She (Katie O'Farrell) had a plan going out to be handy and she was probably crying out to be ridden that way,. She's after finding a bit of form and she's tough and winged everything there. For the owner John Kennedy that's a great boost as he's battled illness in the recent past. She has entries at Ballinrobe and Bellewstown and as she's so tough another run would be a possibility. We'll see.
1-2 for McManus at Killarney on tough day for green and gold team
Galway Hurdle 2nd placer Due Reward wins on chase debut
Brahma Bull adds to impressive strike-rate
He's a big horse and might have needed it (when beaten by Robin De Carlow last time),. He was straightforward there - he made the running and stayed galloping - you couldn't fault him.
Ballyoisin blitzes BoyleSports rivals
We definitely thought that on his first run since Christmas there'd be a question mark about his fitness,. He just buzzes around there though. Darragh said he was only a passenger but his five pound helped. Killarney is this fella's track - that's for sure. Darragh also won the big one on him - the 100,000 Euro hurdle - at Listowel last year. We may go back for that but he'll be entered for the Kerry National as well. He stays well. He was on fire today - always in command. I thought we'd finish third or fourth and I'd have been over the moon. I'm over the moon and the stars with that. With the bad mistake Darragh said he was just a passenger and going too fast. He's a typical one of those fast chasers - he just wants to get on with it. The idea was to sit in third or fourth but anyway there you go!. There's no complaints when you win - it means you're doing something right!
Bentham makes it a better end to the day for Cromwell
He's by Jeremy and they're supposed to like the soft ground but this ground is the key to him,. I ran him a couple of times on soft ground when I shouldn't have. He is in my wife's colours. We'll see if he's sold or not but we could go over hurdles with him.
