Osborne back among the winners at Dundalk
That's my first winner in Ireland since I took up the reins again,. We've had a bit of luck across the pond but it's nice to get a winner at home. This horse won in Hamilton and has maybe been unlucky a couple of times. He's a gutsy little fella and tries every time so it's great to see him sticking his head in front again. He's back in at Hamilton on Monday and if he pulls out okay we'll probably have a go again. I stopped training in 2009 and had a nice quiet life for a few years but I'm back at this now. I wouldn't have had too many runners here back then and I'm just delighted to be in the number one spot.
Bittersweet victory for McGuinness
We only got her ten days ago. My wife's on a roll this week as that's her second winner of the week,. She's there to be claimed. She has a good pedigree and that's why she was bought, to put her in foal so we'll see what happens. She's surprised me there on the all-weather as she wasn't liking my heavy sand at home. She was fit and stayed at it. She was green as she hasn't had that many runs. She'll here for the winter if she's not claimed.

Alfirak defies top-weight under Cleary for English
I kind of expected that if I'm honest,. He ran a blinder on the beach over seven, which is just short of his best, and he just met the stream on the wrong stride when he was bang there. When he won here back in April I expected him to go on a do a lot more. He ran a blinder at Bellewstown when he got shuffled back and flew home to be second. Then it was soft ground in Galway, he was a little unlucky at Roscommon and we stepped him up to mile-and-two in Leopardstown. We haven't got everything right but we'll crack on now for a winter campaign and hopefully he'll be able to progress up the ratings. He should be one we can have a bit of fun with up here. The loose horse was a blessing there as he does idle in front. We told Rory to sit second or third but he was clever, once he saw the loose horse he said 'this is going to take me a long way'. You could see him in the final stages that he was looking around a bit. He's still a big baby and hopefully he can keep progressing.

Consistent Nimitz records fourth career success
That was grand and that's his fourth win this year,. He likes it here and I'd no doubt that he gets a mile-and-a-half once he gets settled and he settled well today. He'll probably go to the horses-in-training at Newmarket but we'll try and get another one before that.
The sky's the limit for progressive Astronomer
He's a lovely horse. He's a jockey's dream as he pings the gates, he lobs along until you ask him and the second you give him a squeeze he's there for you,. He's very versatile and he's just a lovely horse to ride. He's not a bad horse. I don't know what his rating will be now but you could look at something like the Cesarewitch because I think he'd stay as far as you want him to and if not he could go into stakes company. He's not a bad horse at all.
