Queens Carriage blows away rivals in juvenile sprint
On ratings we were wrong so I used the claimer and it turns out we didn’t need to. It’s been a long season and that’s her ninth run. I was going to give her a break the last day but she was in such good form we kept her going for this race. That’s two wins so it’s job done. She’s hardy out and a pleasure to train with a very good temperament. I don’t train too many horses but she’s the fastest thing that I have ever sat on. It’s taken her a while to hit top gear. The aim was to get black type and she was fourth in two Listed races. That’s what we will aim for next year but she needs fast ground. She will have a long break now.
Morning Approach shows good attitude on debut
She’s a lovely big filly, very honest and never had any complications. She’s owned by a lovely syndicate of lads that have been with me for a good few years. Sadly the man who picked her out, Frank McGarry, passed away this year and his son Eddie is involved. She is going to be a lovely filly on grass next year. She showed a good attitude in the finish and really stuck her head out.
O'Connor takes no Prisoner's aboard Dilemma
He got a nice positive ride and, excuse the pun, Donagh took no prisoners!. He's a nice horse and the only blips on his form were trainer error when I ran him on soft ground. We might give him a couple more runs up here and then give him a break. He should sneak into some big handicaps on the turf next summer. He's what I call a sharp miler so he gets away with the seven.
Legion keeps the locals happy
It's hard to get one like him and he's doing us proud. We were going to give him a break but we'll see what happens in January. We'd like to keep him for the summer Festivals for a bit of fun. That's what we like. I didn't think he'd handle the ground as well as he did in Listowel and he seems to love this track. He might have been a little bit short of work here earlier this week as he blew a bit afterwards but he didn't blow tonight!. It's great for Ross as well as he has a long association with me, and I'd say he’s ridden over ten winners for me.

Wonder makes the breakthrough under McCullagh
It's nice to get his head in front and I think Niall found the key to him today. He has a lot of ability but he's probably cleverer than his trainer! He's my favourite horse and I've been waiting on him to win for a while. The jockey did the business. I'll give him a break now and it will be back to the grass next summer.

Gormanston takes the 2020 finale at Dundalk
It’s good for the owners as they are a nice bunch of fellas. They have been patient with him so it’s nice to get that. He’s been consistent and knocking on the door but not getting there. It’s nice to end the year on a high.
