Pearls Galore shines in Limerick
She is a nice filly; we have had her since January and she came from France. There is an unusual story with her as her grandam (Group 1 Prix Vermeille Stakes winner Pearly Shells) was bred here at the track by Lord Harrington. She is Lord Harrington's back pedigree and is coming home to win her maiden. I'm very happy for her to win her maiden and we'll see how she comes out of this.
Comfort Line finds best route home
Leigh (Roche) felt he didn't get home the last day and I think he will get ten furlongs eventually as he is still maturing. He'll go to Galway for a 3yo handicap next. The family only get better with age and I hope he will develop into the horse I think he is.
Call Me Rocky another for Murtagh
He is a big baby and is better back at that trip; there were no maidens for him at that trip when he ran him at Roscommon so we had to start him at 1m2f and he was fresh. He was back at this trip on this ground, and it suited him, and he was sure to come on from the run the last day. We'll see what the handicapper does now.
Sexton makes breakthrough on his first ride
Ryan is a brother of Kevin's and joined me full-time at the end of June having graduated from RACE. He had been with me on summer holidays in the years previously and had done a good bit of pony racing; his first ride pony racing was a winner too. I'm delighted for Ryan and for Sport Racing Club who leased her six weeks ago and they have been a very lucky syndicate for me. She is in-foal and only has another month left to run.

McNamara tips his hat to Doyle
He's been a great servant for us. He ran a nice race at Fairyhouse when he didn't get the clearest run up the straight and Joe (Doyle) said the step up to two miles would be a help to him. The horse is probably getting a bit slower as he gets older. He'll go to Galway now, the lads who own him are from there and they've been bursting to go there since they bought him but haven't made it yet. He'll probably run in a two-mile handicap hurdle there. It's Joe's first winner for me and I've found him very good to deal with.
