Farclas too good in Triumph Hurdle
He (Elliott) has done so well with these horses - it's unreal. He just leaves no stone unturned, his attention to detail is second to none. It's great, we're having an unbelievable week. I keep saying to the staff and owners that it's unbelievable, and it's a big thanks to everyone. On his first run he was beaten in a Grade Two, then he was beaten in a Grade One by the second (Mr Adjudicator), so there was only a good jump between them and the Irish form stood up.
Delight for Bridget Andrews with County Hurdle success
I couldn't believe he handled the ground. He's got some good form in the book, we knew he could do it but sort of wrote him off because of the ground. I just can't believe it. I'm a professional and I shouldn't be crying, but Bridget has just won a race at the Festival. I'm so pleased for her. She works so hard, she's the epitome of our sport. The English haven't been doing that well this week, I didn't think we had any chance. I feel like an idiot! I'm a bit speechless.
Native River digs deep to see off Might Bite in Gold Cup thriller
It's unreal. The Cheltenham Gold Cup is everything in everyone's life and there's no pretending it's not. Richard Johnson was galloping as fast as he could and jumping as fast as he could all the time and the horse never let him down once. Might Bite came to him and I thought that was it, but he just powered away again. We've had a wonderful preparation with him, so you think something's going to go wrong in the race, but it didn't. His form has gone on from last year. I can't believe it. It doesn't get better, does it?
Tucker wins Foxhunters on Festival stalwart Pacha Du Polder
I was pushing and praying that no one was going to beat me because I couldn't hit him any more with my right hand, so I just had to keep pushing and screaming at him and he just got there. I'm really proud. Harriet was only having her second start under Rules. He's had a lot of problems this year, but this is just a fantastic moment. Andy (Stewart, owner) just leaves it to me (to pick a jockey). I said to Harriet at the start of the season, 'we will get you on Pacha and you will have a day you will never forget'.
Elliott strikes another Blow as Meyler wins 'the boys race'
He got a soft lead and fair play to the horse, he was a Grade One winner. He looked well handicapped, but I thought the ground was too soft for him. What a week - to have eight winners. I can't believe it. We can enjoy it now.
Nicholls doubles up with Le Prezien in the Grand Annual
We weren't sure which race to run him in, but we just felt on this ground we'd get away with two miles. He does want further, but it worked out well. It was a good ride. He got hampered, but it probably stopped him getting there too soon. He's a proper horse. He's just learning and has been unlucky this season. He's been placed in two good handicaps. That was good. He had a long time off and it took us time to get him right. We were aiming him for this meeting whichever race we ran him in.
