Sheer Bravado lands Cork gamble
he had 3lb more on the flat and his form at home was very good. I was happy to see the rain which took the sting out of the ground and made it ideal so we thought he should have been competitive. I was always happy, he got a good run around and jumped and settled well. He got a bit of a solo out in front and it allowed him to settle which was one concern but it made sure he settled. Thank God his owner Joe Taylor is patient with me as I have him nearly 12 months but slight little niggly things kept holding him up. He was fair enough to give me the rope to be patient though.

Dutton delivers for Mags and Danny Mullins
his form is nothing but disappointing so far and he was unlucky in point-to-points as nothing happened for him. I said to Mags that his run in Punchestown wasn't that bad as Wizard Of Oz was third in that race and finished a solid second in a Grade 2 race at Aintree afterwards. I thought that wasn't a bad run, he had a bit of grass, strengthened up and when I saw he was 50/1 this morning I thought he had a better chance than that. Three miles probably suited but he jumps quick enough that dropping to 2m4f could also be an option.
