Young back among the winners
Arnaud shows his bit of class
If they were all like that the job would be easy. The track, ground and conditions of the race suited him. He had eleven pounds in hand. I'm sure he'll finish up at Cheltenham in some race and he'll maybe go to England in early January too for better ground . for a handy novice race,.
Blackmore shows her talent again on Gold
She's a good mare and I bred her. The dam (Deerpark Gale) died six to eight months ago and I also have Maple Valley Gale out of her. I have three in training and Rachel was very good on her.
First winner for Barcoe as Allez scores
Kylecrue follows up on Clonmel success
That's my thirteenth winner on Friday the 13th, and I turned twenty last week.
Slew springs surprise as Cowboy crashes out
That was a long time coming. It is my first national hunt winner, I've had point-to-point and flat winners before. I'm so pleased for the owners, John and Joanne McCoubrey who have been so patient. His form has been rock solid, he has been so unlucky in running the last few times. He ran at Fairyhouse and got bumped. He likes to creep into his races. He deserved that and Noel knows him as well as anybody. I didn't know if he would like Downpatrick, horses either love it or hate it here, or if the ground would be too firm for him. He likes a wee bit of cut. I've got half a dozen national hunt horses and half a dozen for the flat.
James takes to the track in style
He's a progressive horse and he does it when he has to. He's a lovely type with a great attitude. He doesn't seem to be tired after that and he just seems to grind it out in his races. He's very solid and a bit of class won it for him today. Colin's horse (Davyroy) was unlucky at the second last . he was the danger.
