Porter benefits from weight swing
That was a good performance and I'm delighted. We've been hitting the crossbar lately and it's good to get one on the board. She loves this place, and the revised weights from Galway helped. Helen gave her a great ride, and hopefully she can repeat the dose back here on Sunday.
Oxx visits his lucky track
This is my lucky track, I even get photo-finish verdicts! I didn't know what to expect today as she ran well on her first start at Gowran but very moderate next time at Down Royal. She did it well when challenged and it might be her last run.
Forcing tactics work for Hyden
That definitely was not a shock. The plan was to make the running and it would either work or it wouldn't. It might not work again!
Oxx and Curtis double up with Missy
She's been promising in her home work but has been plain disappointing on the track. She was a suitable candidate for this track and handled it well. It's nice to get a win for her as she's a well-bred filly, and she'll go to the Newmarket Sales in December. She may have another run.
Heather records fifth win
She'll probably go for another hurdle but chasing will be her game in the winter. Hopefully we can get another win out of her.
Hayes looks a "pro" on Belle
She deserves to win as she's been knocking on the door. She's only a small filly and might have a break before going to Listowel. I'm delighted for the syndicate who are a group of five brothers (Burke's) from Coosan near Athlone, and it's brilliant for Brian who is a great lad and does everything you ask him to.
Bucket collects for the Madden family
Sarah Ann is currently in the air on the way back from a month's holiday in Australia. He ran a bit free but its great that he's won. My younger son Tom used to shake the bucket when feeding him, and that's how he got his name.
