The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter,Mr. J.R. Banahan, that C

Horgan, rider of Tinkiewinkie and D. McMonagle, rider of City Point both entered the wrong stalls before their mounts were unloaded and brought forward again and led into the correct stalls. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Horgan accepted that his mount was brought forward by the stalls handler and was placed in the wrong stall. D. McMonagle accepted that it was his responsibility to enter the correct stall and on loading last he had an idea that he had entered the wrong stall but went with the flow. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied, on both riders admissions, that they were in breach of Rule 208 (iv). Having taken their clean previous records into consideration, the Stewards suspended both C. Horgan and D. McMonagle for one raceday each in accordance with the penalty guidelines

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Papa K, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
