Nancy Wyse landed the mares' point-to-point bumper in Tipperary for Gerard Quirk and Shane O'Rourke.

The former point-to-point winner took it up a long way out and saw off all the challengers as she held on by half a length from a staying on Rosa Gloriosa (7/2). Kilbarry Chloe (9/1 from 22/1) ran a promising race on debut when third, beaten a length by the winner.

Jockey O'Rourke said: "I rode her in a point to point and she never picked up the bridle but today, I don't know whether it was the reins or the grip on my gloves are gone, she ran clean away with me!

"I rode her to beat Norwigi in a point-to-point but didn't ride her in two bumpers and was wondering why she didn't run up to scratch on her point-to-point form.

"That's my first racecourse winner, I have 42 point to point winners and ride out for Vinny Devereaux most mornings along with John Berry and everyone around Wexford, where I'm from."
