Review tipperary 2nd Oct The Willie Mullins-trained Ivan Grozny ran his rivals ragged in the Grade Two Istabraq Hurdle at Tipperary. The 2-5 favourite bounced straight into a lead he was never to relinquish under Ruby Walsh and established a big gap from a relatively early stage.Bentelimar got to within a few lengths approaching the last but Ivan Grozny was still travelling well within himself and eased away again to register a four-and-three-quarter-length triumph.Mullins and Walsh also claimed the two chief supporting events over jumps with Penhill and Westerner Lady.Even-money favourite Penhill headed Balzac Turgot between the third-last and second-last in the Joe Mac Novice Hurdle and although he appeared to lose concentration slightly when on his own in front, still passed the post four and a half lengths to the good.Westerner Lady is now three from three over fences, and unbeaten in her last six overall, after landing the Like A Butterfly Novice Chase. The 2-1 shot used her previous jumping experience to her advantage and accounted for Deans Road by 15 lengths, with odds-on favourite Alpha Des Obeaux disappointing on his fencing bow.Jet Setting (7-4 favourite) regained the winning thread with a dominant performance in the Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes. The Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine was a class apart in this Group Three, kicking for home with over two furlongs to run and going clear impressively to cross the line with six and a half lengths in hand of Joailliere.Galilean was all the rage for the Athassel House Stud EBF Maiden but Donnacha O'Brien never seemed happy and he could only manage third as Three Jacks (13-2) pipped the front-running Feathery to the prize.Downforce (2-1 favourite) fended off Master Speaker in the Thetote.com Handicap, while Cradle Mountain eventually consented to put his best foot forward to land the Woodlands Hotel Adare Handicap Hurdle at odds of 7-1.The Kenyon Street Traders (C & G) (Pro/Am) Flat Race rounded out the action and went the way of Dr Mikey.
