John Kiely's Head Of The Posse maintained his unbeaten record over fences in the Barna Waste Ballybrit Novice Chase at Galway.
Sent off at 6-4 on the back of an effortless victory at Ballinrobe, the seven-year-old held off the challenge of Son Of Oscar to take this Grade Three by a length and three-quarters under David Casey.
Hot favourite Realt Dubh was challenging for the lead when falling four fences from home.
"It was made very easy with the other horse falling," said Kiely.
"It was a pity that he didn't stay up, though we're obviously pleased to get the win. David was generally happy with his jumping and we have no plans."
Head Of The Posse's victory was the third leg of a treble for owner JP McManus having earlier struck with One Fine Morning (4-1) and veteran L'Ami (8-1).
One Fine Morning made every yard of the running in the Corrib Oil Sean Cleary Memorial Maiden Hurdle, also ridden by Casey.
Winning trainer Ronnie O'Leary said: "He enjoyed himself in front but he might prefer a bit of company.
"He jumped great but got a bit lonely towards the finish. He'll jump a fence in time and he should make a nice chaser."
Smart chaser L'Ami recorded his first ever victory over the smaller obstacles in the Diamond Vision Novice Hurdle.
Enda Bolger's veteran had been off the track since winning the La Touche Cup in April but turned in an impressive display to score by two and a half lengths.
McManus' racing manager Frank Berry, said: "He enjoyed himself and jumped great. Tom (Ryan) let him stride on down the hill and got them at it. He always had that bit of class."
Tom Cooper's Listowel bumper winner The Sheperd King got off the mark over timber at the first time of asking in the CCTV Venue Control Maiden Hurdle.
"He is a nice horse that travels and idles when he hits the front," Cooper said of the 11-4 shot.
"He had loads in the tank and jumped for fun. He doesn't take a lot of racing so he'll go for the Royal Bond Hurdle at Fairyhouse now and then get a break. He stays well too."
