Aidan O'Brien enjoyed a Curragh treble, highlighted by Port Douglas giving the master of Ballydoyle a remarkable 15th victory in the Juddmonte Beresford Stakes.
Setting the pace, seemingly for his better-fancied stablemates Beacon Rock and Unicorn in the Group Two, the 14-1 chance was pressed by True Solitaire turning for home.

Some interesting prospects emerged from a four-way finish to the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden over seven furlongs, not least the O'Brien-trained debutant Hit It A Bomb who held off Agent Of Chaos Theodorico and Cook Islands as the 2-1 favourite in the hands of Ryan Moore.< Tylery Wonder (16-1) crossed over from stall one to take the lead against the stands rail in the Joe McGrath Handicap and he kept up the gallop in the hands of Pat Smullen to land the good prize by half a length from Captain Cullen < Jenniechild (6-1) just got the better of a head-bobber with Piazzini in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden over five furlongs, while Katie Walsh won the Manguard Plus Amateur Derby on Willie Mullins' 4-1 market leader Noble Inn and Fit For The Job (8-1) claimed a last-gasp triumph in the Bill Keogh Memorial Handicap.
Dermot Weld's progressive filly Silwana took the step up to Listed company in her stride by denying Toe The Line back-to-back wins in the Loughbrown Stakes.
