Yulong Gold Fairy proved different class to her 15 rivals in the valuable Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Race Final at Naas.
From third with a quarter of a mile to travel, she made good headway to collar Quizical over a furlong out.
The 9/4 favourite (from 10/3) was ridden to assert inside the final furlong and went six lengths clear by the finish.
This reduced the gap back to five in the jockeys' title race with Pat Smullen moving onto 83 winners. Colin Keane leads the way on 88.
Quizical (5/1) kept on for second, two and three quarter lengths in front of Red Persian (22/1).
Dermot Weld said: "She was impressive. She did it well when she won in Galway for us and this has always been the plan.
“We'll put her away for the year now and look forward to her being a stakes filly for next year.
“She'll appear in one of the 1,000 Guineas trials next spring. She was coming home very nicely there so it's logical to try her in one of the classic trials next spring.
“She's good. She's pretty adaptable ground wise and is a good-moving filly.”
This race was worth 120,000 euro with the winner's share 70,800.
