Winning return for Miss Pronunciation J.P. McManus' Miss Pronunciation made a successful reappearance - following nine months off, when proving the well-backed (morning 12/1, returned 9/2) winner of Limerick's Bluegrass Horse Feeds Handicap Hurdle today. Homebred by Noreen McManus, Miss Pronunciation's dam Adarma was a Grade 3 winner for Christy Roche in 2005 and today scored readily for the retired trainer's son, trainer Padraig Roche. Ridden by Mark Walsh, Miss Pronunciation scored by two and a quarter lengths with Roche reporting “she had a hiccup after Gowran (in January) and went home, but it mightn't have done her any harm. Maybe it was just weakness but she came back a stronger mare. “We were hoping she'd run well as it was a weak contest and we knew she'd handle the ground. She is a nice mare going forwards.”
