Wind blows them away Run With The Wind opened his account of timber with a stylish success in the Treacy's Pharmacy Hurdle at Ballinrobe. Michael Hourigan's charge had been in fine form on the Flat already this year and made a winning return to the jumping game. Barry Geraghty produced his mount to take it up travelling well turning for home and he readily held the late challenge of Primroseandblue. The well-backed Sadler's Wells gelding (11/4 into 2/1) had a cosy length to spare at the line. Distant Memories was sent off 7/4 favourite but after racing keen early he failed to jump with any fluency and could only finish fifth. He was reported to be blowing hard post-race. "He'll probably get a break now and go out to grass," said Hourigan of the winner afterwards. "He'll come back in for the Galway festival and might go for a winners hurdle." (GC & TW)
