The John Joseph Murphy trained White Birch will bid to get his season back on track when returning to action after a short mid-summer break at Leopardstown on Saturday.
The grey, who made a winning three-year-old debut at that course in the Ballysax Stakes back in April, went on to finish runner-up in the Dante at York on his second start.
After a highly commendable third in the Epsom Derby in June, the colt can ran below par when a disappointing eighth of 9 in the Irish equivalent the following month.
However, the Murphy stable were under something of a cloud at that time, with many well fancied horses running poor races. Having seen a real return to form in recent weeks, Assistant Trainer George Murphy told Racing Tv he is looking forward to the weekend:
"White Birch will go to the Kilternan Stakes (Group 3 Paddy Power Stakes) at Leopardstown.
"He's in great shape, but could do with a bit of rain if there was any chance of it! I don't think we are going to get it.
"The stable is in good shape."
