Ruby Walsh completed a quick double this afternoon at Naas when winning The BBA Ireland Opera Hat Novice Chase aboard the Paul Nolan trained Joncol
Nolan commented afterwards, "He's a grand big horse and he gave a good heavy blow there, he was probably not a 100%. It wasn't the plan to come here but then with the meeting being re-scheduled we decided to run him and give him more experience over fences before bringing him to Fairyhouse and Punchestown. Ground wise Fairyhouse will probably be more suitable for him."
