The Kepak Flat Race saw a convincing winner in the Conor O’Dwyer trained Nodouraboura when he ran out a three length winner.
Katie Walsh who was in the saddle took up the lead inside the final furlong and the pair forged clear close home to score.
A relieved O’Dwyer said afterwards: “I’m absolutely delighted he won, that’s our first winner in awhile the horses have just being running under par lately.”
“Katie [Walsh] said he loved that ground and I think the extra trip is what he needed.”
“He’ll go back hurdling now and we’ll keep him on the go throughout the Summer.”
It was a nice couple of days for Walsh as she received the special achievement award at the National Hunt Awards last night in Adare.
