Twinlight upset odds-on favourite Mallowney to bring up a double in as many races at Fairyhouse for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh, in the Grade 2 Normans Grove Chase.
Earlier winners with Upazo in the opener, here Twinlight led from the second under Walsh, and the Mullins charge asserted from before the last to defeat the hot-pot.
Mullins said: "We ran him in a snaffle with no noseband which may have made a difference but in fairness he jumped great and the other two didn't jump as well.
"Ruby said he was really enjoying himself, and was a different horse than the last day. He hasn't missed a beat all season and, as long as the ground is soft, he'll go to Punchestown."
Meanwhile Walsh commented: "When I rounded the bend here to the bend past the stands he took a hold of the bridle and really attacked that fence and that's what we were hoping would be there.
"He jumped super all the way. He got a great jump at the second last and he got the better of Mallowney from there home.
"I was just riding my own horse really. He was wanting to go and enjoying himself so I was letting him do it. I wasn't even thinking about Mallowney I was thinking about Twinlight.
"He has a lot of chases won. He's a fair horse on his day. When things are right for him he's a decent horse.
"I'm a couple in front now (in the jockey's championship). I need to stay in one piece. Paul (Townend) is not that far behind and Mark (Walsh) will be back soon so I have to stay in one piece." (AM & EM)
