Tut Tut (5/2) won the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden in the hands of Shane Foley.

Foley tracked the leaders on the daughter of Kodi Bear and produced her to challenge in the straight. Having hit the front inside the final hundred yards, she kept on well to just deny Gabbys Girl (15/2) by a head, with Capitulation (12/1) running on well to take third place a further three quarters of a length away.

Second on debut over six furlongs at Fairyhouse behind subsequent Group 2 winner Velocidad, the winner had finished mid-division over the same trip in the valuable Ballyhane Stakes at Naas earlier this month.

Kate Harrington, assistant to her mother Jessica, said: “It was nice to see her bounce back. When she was eligible we let her take her chance in the Ballyhane race but it was a little bit short for her.

“The step up in trip today suited her. It just took her a little time to hit top gear and Shane said she is still learning on the job. He felt she won snug enough.

“She likes cut in the ground and I’d say in the autumn we’ll see a very nice filly when she gets a bit of slower ground.

“We might come back for the Listed Ingabelle Stakes here on Champions Weekend. The same (It's All About The Girls) syndicate won it before (in 2018) with Sparkle’n’joy.

“The syndicate have some nice horses this year and hopefully will have a bit of fun with them.”
