Trump continues to make the news It took fifteen outings before Trump Card shed his maiden tag but he's now won two of his last three, taking tonight's Outcider Handicap at Leopardstown under Billy Lee. Conor O'Dwyer's four-year-old, a 13/2 chance for this mile five contest, came home three parts of a length and a head in front of Ard Na Carraig and Black Label. "I don't know what's happening but I won't question it too much!" quipped O'Dwyer in relation to the resurgence in form of his string. The dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winning jockey then explained: "The 1m2f was a little short in Fairyhouse and we rode him a bit more forceful then as we thought it was too short. It was a good solid run. "I'm delighted he's got his head in front on grass. He's a good solid fun horse. "There are plenty of races for him during the summer. He has jumped hurdles so we might try that again at some stage — he's versatile. "Billy gave him a peach of a ride and was always in the right place. "He should have run for a syndicate tonight made up of four people as he was sold since the last day. They are called the Trump syndicate and the name is topical if nothing else." (GC & EM)
