Last month's Champion Chase winners trainer Henry De Bromhead and jockey Rachael Blackmore combined for Tipperary doubles today as Music Of Tara (6/4) scored on her fences debut in the TipperaryRaces.ie Rated Novice Chase.

A debut 2021 point-to-point winner, Music Of Tara had previously scored over hurdles at Leopardstown's most-recent Christmas festival and today, in common with the pair's earlier winner Nas Na Riogh was having her first start since February.

Racing fourth of five runners, keen-going Music Of Tara improved to lead jumping the second-last - at which point chasing and strong-travelling Nine Graces blundered badly, aiding the winner to score by four lengths from So Des Flos

De Bromhead's assistant Robbie Power reported “Music Of Tara jumped really really well and I was really impressed with her jumping. She won a 'pot' over hurdles and hopefully can go onwards and upwards over fences now.

“On the evidence of that, she could be a better chaser than hurdler and Rachael was very happy with her jumping. We'll look at the calendar and see what options are there for her but she will stay going.”
