Chris Timmons is enjoying his best year since taking out a licence with six winners on the Flat and is hopeful of a good show from one of his National Hunt horses at Punchestown tomorrow.

Royal Cave represents the County Meath trainer in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction (Pro/Am) Bumper on Tuesday’s card and the four-year-old daughter of Court Cave has shown promise on all four previous bumper starts.

"She is a lovely filly and probably wants a little bit further and a hurdle but will be competitive,” said Timmons at Dundalk on Friday evening after saddling Hurricane Helen to win a mile handicap.

"She was unlucky in Galway the last day, she kind of got shuffled to the back and finished out well.

"She is a horse that will win races, but maybe not a bumper type. We will probably go jumping with her in the new year."
