Thomas Edison beaten 4/6 favourite in the Grade 2 Istabraq Hurdle at Tipperary today, returned 'post-race normal' following his notable third place finish today.
The Tony Martin trained and J.P. McManus owned runner was returning to action having fallen at the final flight on his last start in July's Galway Hurdle but caught many eyes today when staying on to some effect having been administered just one 'reminder' in the home straight.
Samples, as is the norm for a beaten 'jolly', have been sent for analysis following his veterinary examination and the Turf Club stewards held no enquiry into the race.
