The Blue Panther (18/1) gained a third career success and today, as the Mick Mulvany trained four year old landed Gowran's Support The Irish Injured Jockeys Handicap under jockey Gary Carroll.

The son of Buratino had previously won as a juvenile at Bellewstown in 2020, at Sligo last year, and on his 36th start today, scored by a length and a half from Monzoon

Mulvany later said “I was very disappointed at the Curragh last Saturday so we tried something different with him today. We put the cheek pieces on and I told Gary to hold him up. If anything Gary got there a bit early on him.

“Hopefully the handicapper won’t go mad on him. I was a little worried about the ground and we may go to Listowel next with him.”
