The runners fanned out right across the width of the straight in the closing stages of the GAIN The Advantage Series (Ladies) Handicap and it was the grey L'un Deux Trois who found most to get home in front.
Having tracked the leaders, the seven-year-old made his bid in the final quarter-mile and led inside the final 150 yards to beat Black Soul and Expound who had travelled best, by half-a-length and the same.
It was a third win on the Flat for the Mastercraftsman glding who is owned by Keep The Faith Bloodstock Limited and trained by Oliver McKiernan.
Winning rider Sorcha Woods said: “I thought they might have gone a bit slow for him early on but he travelled into the race lovely and did it well in the end.
“Aine O’Connor’s horse (Expound) carried me into the race lovely.
“Oliver was hopeful and he’s done it well.”
