Themoonandsixpence completes Walsh/Mullins double Jockey Ruby Walsh and trainer Willie Mullins combined to record a 23/1 double at Killarney this evening, with Themoonandsixpence's win in the Ashes Bar Glenbeigh Long Distance Handicap Hurdle adding to Norwich Boy's earlier win. The son of Presenting raced prominently throughout, moved through to lead four out, before staying on gamely in the straight for a two and a half lengths win over Printing Copper. Afterwards Walsh stated "Themoonandsixpence is a fair winter type and was racing against summer horses and was entitled to win. He stays and jumps and may win another handicap."
