Term of Endearment ran down long time leader Paris Peacock close home to take the Gowran Park Median Auction Fillies Maiden at Gowran Park.

The once raced filly, having her first run for Henry De Bromhead, challenged from the turn in and eventually got on top inside the last furlong. She showed a real determined attitude to win going away.

Sixth on her racecourse debut for John Motherway at Leopardstown as a juvenile, the daughter of Sea The Moon obviously benefitted from a winter break.

Out of a Monjeu mare, she should stay further in time.

Wayne Lordan said; “It was a good performance. She had a good run last year.

“I had a good draw and was able to get a lovely position. She’s a bit green still coming up the straight but I thought she hit the line well.

“She hit the line and she didn’t feel empty so it’s a nice sign.”
