Jessica Harrington said Takeyourcapoff had "a very good chance" in her column in today's Irish Examiner. The Commonstown Stud-handler also described Charlie Elliott as being "very good value" for his 7Ib claim and how right she was proved as Takeyourcapoff landed the Campile Apprentice Handicap at Wexford under her seventeen-year-old pilot, a native of Skerries, County Dublin.
For Elliott this was a second winner following on from Bendzoldan for the same yard at Leopardstown last June.
The teenager can do seven thirteen or eight stone and he's been with Mrs Harrington for a year and a half. Here he got Takeyourcapoff (running in the Micko's Dream colours of the Sport Racing Club) home by a length and a quarter from the staying on well Passion Planet
Five of the six of them had a chance at the business end, the exception being the front-running Beau Michael who folded with over a half mile to race, finishing thirty lengths behind in last.
Elliott commented on Takeyourcapoff: "She was a small bit keen early but she travelled really well through the race." (DM & EM)
